Named in memory of an Ann Arbor environmentalist, Mary Beth Doyle Park is one of Ann Arbor’s larger parks with 81 acres of green space. Inside the park you’ll find a variety of habitats: spacious woodlands, sensitive wetlands, and even a pond bustling with waterfowl and turtles! We need your help in restoring this park’s woodlands by removing invasive hedge parsley to make space for native woodland wildflowers. Pre-registration through Rec-1 is required – register here - space is limited. Participants must wear a mask and maintain a 6-ft distance from others at all times. Please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gardening gloves. All minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Compost bags and know-how provided. Meeting location will be provided after registration.
