Join Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley for hands-on community revitalization that brings volunteers, residents and local partners together to complete exterior home repairs and neighborhood cleanup projects in our partner neighborhood, Sugarbrook, on Friday, October 23rd!
Typical tasks include cleaning gutters, installing gutter guards, replacing downspout extensions, painting, trimming hedges & trees, planting flowers, spreading dirt & mulch, weeding & yard clean up, and other minor exterior improvements. Further details and the meeting location will be emailed the week of the volunteer activity.
Volunteers ages 14+ are welcome. Those under the age of 18 must complete a minor waiver with a legal guardian and be accompanied by an adult while on site.
Interested volunteers MUST sign up for this event on Habitat for Humanity's Volunteer portal, linked here, to complete our required waiver and register for guaranteed shift. To register, click the blue register button on the linked page, select the team titled "Public Volunteer Team sponsored by Williams Distributing" to bypass the event lock code, and complete our registration form as prompted.
Signing up through United Way Southeastern Michigan does not guarantee volunteer shift.
