To support local students, volunteers will be distributed bags of school supplies and healthy snacks to students at three Detroit schools. The schools include McDowell Elementary School, Nobel Middle School, and Palmer Park Preparatory Academy. Please note that the included schools are subject to change.
Volunteers will meet at Oak Grove Church prior to distribution. Volunteers will likely be able to ride on a bus with the bags, but can take their own vehicle if they prefer.
For health and safety reasons, all volunteers must wear masks and gloves, even if fully-vaccinated. We will abide by all health-related protocols at each school.
Exact start time is still being determined, but we will start sometime in the morning. Times will be communicated with volunteers.
