Volunteer with the WCCD!
We would love to invite you to volunteer for Washtenaw County Conservation District's (WCCD) Native Plant Expo & Marketplace! There are multiple shifts and volunteer roles available leading up to our Native Plant Expo & Marketplace, June 1st - 3rd.
Volunteers have long been the engine driving these annual events. With volunteer time, hard work, and heart, the WCCD has distributed over 7.1 million trees and plants to Washtenaw County residents since 1951! Volunteers have assisted at countless tabling events, workshops, fairs, and served on the WCCD board since our founding in 1948.
We'll be distributing tens of thousands of pre-sold plants to meet hundreds of customer orders, so we need your help to make the distribution happen efficiently this spring.
The volunteer shifts are 3 hours each and involve sorting, counting plants, packing orders, and assisting with the orders and customer pick-ups. If you can do one or more shifts, please consider signing up.
