Volunteer: Lessons for Life: Help Children Learn Life SkillsFriendship Circle’s Lessons for Life Program is an evidence-based experiential life skill learning program that bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience. The program equips K–12 special education students with practical life skills that build independence, increase confidence, and support successful transitions into adulthood. Through hands-on learning, students practice functional skills they can apply at school, home, work, and in their communities. The program is held at Friendship Circle in a realistic village setting that includes a bank, cafe, library, theater, pet shop, and much more! Volunteers are needed to run the venues to facilitate the development of crucial life skills!
