Volunteer: Support Detroit Youth Through Mock Interviews!Urban Alliance Detroit is seeking passionate volunteers to help prepare high school students for their future careers through in-person mock interviews as part of our High School Internship Program. As a volunteer interviewer, you’ll play a key role in helping young people strengthen their communication skills, gain real-world interview experience, and build confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to listen, encourage, and share insights from your professional journey. Your time and expertise can make a lasting impact on a young person’s life and help shape Detroit’s next generation of leaders. Our students have been diligently preparing for this experience, which provides them with the opportunity to demonstrate their readiness for the workforce while receiving valuable, real-time feedback from professionals like you. Volunteer Responsibilities Volunteers will conduct one to three mock interviews (depending on total participation) and provide constructive feedback to help students strengthen their interview skills and confidence.
