Volunteer: Join our counseling/social work supervisory team

If you are looking for ways to use your social work or professional counseling licensure, The Women's Center invites you to check out our award-winning internship program and become a member of our supervisory team.

As we step up student enrollment, our internship program seeks additional supervising therapists to offer individual and group supervision.  You will have the opportunity to join with a group of social-justice-minded clinicians and to profoundly influence the professional development of graduate students, ages 21-65.

We identify as a feminist/womanist/mujerista program within a nonprofit counseling agency.

The commitment is intense: 4.5 hours per week. But the rewards are equally great.

We invite you in for a conversation with our Clinical Director about what this opportunity entails.

It's a process. You would have plenty of time to check out goodness-of-fit before you decide.

Volunteer: Become our backup internet technology support

The Women's Center, an independent counseling nonprofit, could use help with internet technology and security.

Currently, we're installing, upgrading, connecting, and coding everything ourselves. We know that there are better ways to do it, but lack time to master the necessary skills.

We know that you could do it faster and better!

We could use help with everything from setting up a secure WiFi booster (not even sure that's what the thingamajig is called!) to updating WordPress PHP to figuring out why our printer drivers won't talk to us.

Ideally, we would develop a long-term relationship with you at a pace of ~8 hours/month.

We'd like to get the chance to know you, and for you to know us and to feel a part of our mission.
