Volunteer: Crisis Intervention VolunteerWe are looking for volunteers to help on our Crisis Line. We are looking for volunteers to serve on our 24/7 crisis line to assist youth, parents, and other community services that are in crisis or need to be connected to Ozone House or other community resources. We ask that if you volunteer, you agree to serve for at least 8 months/2 semesters as a crisis line counselor covering at least one shift a week. Our drop-in center serves at risk, runaway and homeless teenagers ages 13-21 on Monday-Thursdays from 3-6pm. We would like to have volunteers consistently support youth and staff during that time by building relationships, helping to serve food, and keeping the space safe. During the three hours that we are open, we see 20-40 youth. Please take some time to read about our programs on our website before filling out this application: https://ozonehouse.org/.
