Thank you for your interest in volunteering with SafeHouse Center! SafeHouse Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Washtenaw County. Volunteers are the heart of our organization and we're always looking to grow our team! Our next training will be held in September 2023. Please see the mandatory training dates below.
Two volunteer information sessions are held virtually the first Monday of each month at 10:00AM-11AM and 6:00PM-7:00PM. At these sessions, we will give an overview of the different volunteer programs, our eligibility requirements, and answer any questions you may have. To register for an upcoming session, please visit this page: https://www.safehousecenter.org/volunteer-info-sessions/
We currently have five different direct-service volunteer positions that are open to our Fall 2023 volunteer applications. Those are the Response Team, Shelter, Helpline, Children's Program, and Support Group. If you would like to read more about each program, please visit this page: https://www.safehousecenter.org/volunteer-information-2-2/
If you'd like to be placed on a call-back list for 2024 trainings, please do so here: https://www.safehousecenter.org/volunteer-interest-form/
