Gleaners has been committed to distributing nutritious, high-quality food to people in need since 1977. Last year, Gleaners distributed over 70 million pounds of milk, eggs, produce, protein, and shelf-stable items to 5 counties across southeastern Michigan. Today, YOU can be part of this incredible impact on our community as a volunteer!
Gleaners needs YOUR help this winter at South Campus to pack food boxes on an assembly line, bag/sort produce, and work in our Clean Room to repack bulk food like cereal and frozen veggies! Individuals and groups up to 50 are welcome! Volunteer shifts take place every weekday from 9am-11:30am and from 1pm-3:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
