Who We Are

Foundations is a nonprofit early childhood education and family support organization that has served children and families in Washtenaw County since 1934. We believe every child deserves a strong foundation for success, regardless of a family’s income or circumstances.

What We Do

We provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children from infancy through age seven, while also helping families overcome barriers that can affect their stability and their child’s success. Through our Connected Care approach, we combine education, social-emotional support, family resources, and community connections to strengthen the whole family.

	We are between Platt and Carpenter roads. You cannot see us from the road, so look for the "Gentle Dental" and "Foot & Ankle" signs. Turn into the business complex at those signs. Our parking lot is at your 3rd turn-in to the right (you will see a large stone turtle and a sign guiding you there). There is a call button to enter to the right of the door.
