Who We Are

Mission: To empower people to live in affordable homes and build stable communities.

​Community Housing Network (CHN) was founded to address the growing need for affordable housing and support services in Metro Detroit. Recognizing that stable housing is important to individual and community well-being, CHN set out to provide  solutions for those facing homelessness and housing difficulty. ​

Over the years, CHN has expanded its reach, offering services including emergency housing, affordable and subsidized housing, supportive services for individuals with disabilities, and homeownership programs. Their efforts have connected thousands of individuals and families to stable housing and essential resources, fostering thriving communities throughout Southeast Michigan.

What We Do

  • Housing Resource Center (HRC)
  • Rapid Rehousing
  • Permanent Supportive Housing
  • Homeless Prevention
  • Street Outreach (PATH)
  • Homebuyer & Financial Education
