Who We Are
As an official event of the PGA TOUR Champions, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is in good company when it comes to charity. The PGA TOUR, its players and tournaments support more than 3,000 charities. These local and national organizations affect the lives of millions in the communities where we live and play.
The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is proud to continue the PGA TOUR’s philanthropic focus by designating net proceeds from the tournament to benefit qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in the greater Flint area that provide individuals and the community with increased access to vital services, education, and resources. The 2024 tournament raised $1,005,260 for charitable organizations in southeastern Michigan and beyond. This is the fifth time the tournament has surpassed the $1 million mark in its brief history.
This total includes $884,679.74 in support of Genesee County
Charities. Overall, more than 31 charities were positively impacted by
The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren this year, including a portion
of the funds for 24 plus crucial programs identified by the tournament’s
primary beneficiary, United Way of Genesee County (UWGC).
Since its inception in 2018, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has donated a total of more than $8.4 million to support charity.
