Who We Are

Mission: To empower women transitioning from incarceration by offering safe housing, comprehensive educational resources, and impactful community initiatives.

S&D PJ Housing proudly serves the greater Detroit area. Founded by E.B. Jordan, who personally experienced incarceration for two years, our organization was born from her firsthand journey of reintegration. Supported by a strong network of friends and family, E.B. navigated the challenges of transitioning back into the community. During her time in prison, she enrolled in Building Trades classes, skills she applied to S&D PJ Housing projects. E.B also serves as the Block Club President and Precinct Delegate in her neighborhood.

What We Do

S&D PJ Housing is committed to providing formerly incarcerated individuals with job and life skills, and education programming needed to help overcome some of the challenges faced upon re-entering their communities.
