Mission: To provide financial and emotional support for families fighting cancer.

New Day Foundation for Families is a 501c3 non-profit committed to alleviating the financial burden of cancer. New Day is dedicated to the direct and immediate needs of families in crisis offering financial and emotional resources. People are our priority. No family should fight cancer alone or make unthinkable choices between medical treatment and providing basic necessities. We work with hospitals across the state of Michigan to reach more patients before they hit critical financial breaking points caused by Cancer Related Financial Toxicity (CRFT), a harmful side effect that creates significant barriers to treatment and healing.

New Day is Michigan’s leading cancer support organization partnered with 70 hospitals across the state to help patients and families who are facing any type of cancer overcome financial toxicity. New Day provides financial assistance for basic living expenses and emotional support for families facing cancer to help patients and family members improve quality of life and treatment outcomes.
