Who We Are

Mission: To compassionately assist individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

Face Addiction Now, formerly Families Against Narcotics (FAN), was created in response to a heartfelt community gathering in 2007, following the tragic loss of two young people to heroin in the close-knit town of Fraser, Michigan. The community faced 30 heroin-related overdoses that year, each one a heartbreaking loss. Determined to make a difference, a group of dedicated individuals came together to form FAN, aiming to bring hope and support to those affected.

What We Do

Face Addiction Now champions the power of compassion and respect in the recovery from substance use disorder. Through a comprehensive suite of free programs, educational initiatives, and resources, we provide a continuum of care that creates pathways to recovery and prevention. As a beacon of hope and knowledge, we guide individuals, families, and communities toward a future of health and well-being, reshaping the narrative around addiction with empathy and understanding.
