The Institute of Legacy Preservation

Mission: To edify and fortify the vitality of legacy in spaces and places by honoring, remembering and building up that which was and is and has made a way for what is to come.

The ILP is an effective and efficient resource to fortify legacy leadership. The ILP is a nonprofit organization that has been established to bring to the forefront the often overlooked and underserved yet fundamental and foundational component of the infrastructure we build on, which is legacy.

At The Institute of Legacy Preservation we create opportunities to highlight and honor legacy, by recognizing and acknowledging legacy as the sustaining and solid structure of what we stand on. We work through empowerment, education and advocacy initiatives to raise awareness of the value of legacy locally and globally.

Through partnerships we work to advance the equitable development of legacy with community projects and economic development programming.
